God Whispers in the Silence

Hugo N.
You make poetry in your paintings. Your paintings
inspire our spirits and take us to forgotten places
in our memories as children where our world was
sketched in vivid and beautiful colors that made us
dream of all the great things we would do.
Rashid
I just want to again say thank you Marti, my purchase
of the painting Implosion has brought me more joy
than I imagined. Everytime I look at it I see something
new and it seems to grow more beautiful and more
complex each day.
Comment on "The Fire Within" from B Dillon...
The Fire Within is spellbinding with the way the flames
are interspersed throughout the blacks, greys and whites.
They virtually leap up to ignite the canvas, just as the
fire within us all can ignite us as individuals.
Pierre Delange
Your work is awesome. It's a testament to what can be
done with a little paint and a lot of talent.
Comment on "Insomnia" from Carla...
I just love your stuff, it has so much texture and depth...
I'm looking at the painting... which pulls me further into
the painting, kind of like Alice entering the looking glass.
D Mallock
God touches each of us in His own special way. To you
He has given the ability to see and create what the rest
of us can only dream. You have a rare and wonderful gift.
Cecile Gelinas
I've visited most of the major museums and galleries in
both Europe and America. After seeing your painting
titled Melody, I have to say that this is one of the finest
pieces of abstract art I've ever seen.
Yana Bieganowski
After looking very closely at your painting named Insomnia,
I have to say that I think you are part genius, part messenger
and part madman, in the best sense of the word of course.
Allan Selig
In the world of contemporary art, with which I am very
familiar, you are a beacon of hope for those who believe
that no living artist is creating anything worthwhile.
Your name will be remembered long after we are gone.
Jhannote Thibault
I am awed at the incredibly intense and sensitive images
that you paint. In your art I see the movement and grace
of Balanchine, the mystery and sensuality of Nureyev,
the freedom embodied by Baryshnikov and a profound
universal understanding of wisdom, evidenced in the
perfect balance expressed in each painting. Your handling
of the greys is superb. I once heard that this ability is the
mark of an enlightened artist. You have incredible talent.
Antoine K.
Few people have the vision you seem to possess. Fewer
still have the technical ability to express and share that
vision so eloquently. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Wynn van Ketel
Having perused your website, I can only say that your
work is outstanding. The vibrant coloration is exceeded
even by the simple complexity of your black and white,
or almost so, works. Each work is worthy of repeated
study to discover more that is exciting. Are you ever
going to exhibit here in Los Angeles?

Rosario Monterro
A paintbrush is like a sword in your hands. Few know
how to wield its power the way you do. The Birth Of
Geometry is now the focal point of our home and
I feel like we own the work of a master.
William C
When I look at the paintings on your website I see
beauty, calm, intelligence and light.
Peter and Mae
Marti, Prelude To The Sky Machine & Does Love Exist
have made our home a much more beautiful place
to live.
Sean Balfour
Your paintings are so original. It's almost as if your
imagination has poured itself onto the canvas.
Paula Verdone
Your colors, your titles and your unique visions are
breathtaking. I went from one photo to the next, being
more impressed with each and every one. I look forward
to what you'll do in the future. Paula, a fan in New York.
Thom Adjano
It's not very often that I see abstract art that catches
my eye, yours does. There seems to be a deliberate
reason for each brush stroke made and every color
selected. As if you control the uncontrollable.
Yusra
I wish to comment on the resemblance between your
photo and your art. You both reflect the obscure as the
creation, sophisticated like the fear, so cold and dramatic
like the volcano drizzle, I thought that the abstract art is
a snobish way to express simple things of life but through
the trip during which I flew from the Gravity Game to
Composition 1, I was challenged with this beauty of the
clarity, the rays were like the sword and the feather of an
Andalousia - Romantic Chevalier and Poet. I enjoyed the
evolution in Abstracting the Obvious. Ciao the obvious the most.
T Delaney
Your work is an excellent example of less is more. The
way you brilliantly use minimal amounts of the primary
colors, superimposed against the dark grey backgrounds
of your paintings is simply, but stunningly beautiful.
Manon Bellefeuille
I love your stuff to bits. If ever you exhibit in Paris, I shall be
there in person to view you're beautiful paintings.
Sandi
Brilliant, and it's interesting to see the growing dimensions
in each painting.... Black and White and Red.... I might have
titled it The Geometric Crevasse.... it feels like the inside of
an abstract ice cavern.... such a pleasure to view your work.
Barbara Diane
Your paintings are complex in their simplicity with layer after
layer adding depth. They are truly intriguing and I am
mesmerized each time I look at them.
Michael Toffler
My personal taste in art leans toward traditional portraits and
landscapes but I came across your website and I would like
to leave a message to say I think you are a true original.
Nina
When I look at your paintings, something takes me away to
an unknown world where their intensity, complexity and depth
is so overwhelming, I can’t breath. The raw sensuality behind
those vibrant colors is enticing.
marti garaughty, an introduction by Denise Deland (Deland Interiors & Design)
His paintings are like beautiful intellectual puzzles. Masses of pure color... pushed, pulled, mixed,
tangled and somehow taken apart again.
He has been called everything from the next Jackson Pollock to Jimi Hendrix with a paintbrush
and is single handedly redefining the world of abstract art.
With clients throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, his paintings
have captured the interest and imagination of collectors worldwide including Sylvester Stallone,
Andre Agassi, Joe Perry(Aerosmith), The Hong Kong Bank of Canada, Larry Ellison(Oracle Inc.)
and many more.
